Fuku is the public nickname used throughout this archive. He is growing up with Japanese and English in Tokyo.
Why keep a long record?
Short descriptions can flatten a childhood. This site tries to preserve change over time: not only diagnoses and milestones, but language, movement, fatigue, learning, relationships, support, preferences, and participation in ordinary settings.
The bilingual setting is part of the context, not a treatment claim. The archive does not try to prove that Japanese–English bilingualism caused any developmental outcome.
Privacy and a growing voice
The name Fuku is used to reduce unnecessary exposure. Details that could identify schools, peers, providers, or locations are limited. As Fuku grows, his understanding of the archive and his ability to influence what remains public will matter more and more.
